Both Windhoek and Swakopmund have cinemas. The cinema in Windhoek is larger and newer. Even though the cinema in Swakopmund is smaller, it has a colonial charm, it being the original building built many years ago.
The cinemas are amazingly up to date and play various current feature films daily. Expect to find new Hollywood releases as the features are rarely a month or two behind the USA release dates.
