Description

Starting in Windhoek, spend a night getting settled in Namibia before hitting the road on day 2 for the Namib Desert. Here, climb the dunes of Sossusvlei, wander through DeadVlei enjoying endless photographic opportunities and explore the small but geologically fascinating Sesriem Canyon as well as experiencing incredible sunsets over the Namib Desert. Continuing on, the next stop is Swakopmund on the Skeleton Coast where we spend 2 nights with a full day to either relax or enjoy optional activities, either scenic and relaxing or something for the inner adrenaline junkie. From Swakopmund, we are heading through to Damaraland, where en-route, we can meet the Himba, Herero and Damara people before heading out into the dry rivers searching for the elusive desert elephants and then exploring the UNESCO World Heritage site of Twyfelfontein. The final stop is 2 nights in Etosha National Park, where we can enjoy the days driving through the park and the evenings sitting by the floodlit waterhole as the wildlife comes to us! Etosha National Park is home to more than 118 mammal species and 340 bird species, and even 1 species of fish, so an incredible variety to tickle everyone’s tastes buds. Accommodation is split with 1 night inside the park to enjoy the floodlit waterhole and our last night on the private Onguma Reserve. Our last day includes a stop at the Cheetah Conservation Fund for a chance to spot the world's fastest land mammal before arriving in Windhoek late afternoon where we can say goodbye to our group.
