Divundu

The town of Divundu marks the entry point to the Caprivi from the rest of Namibia. Looking out across the banks of the Okavango River, Divundu offers great scenery, wildlife, an Engen petrol station and a well-stocked shop. The rest of the Caprivi beckons from here and beyond that lies the wonders of Botswana, the Okavango Delta and Victoria Falls. The road snakes through the Mahango Game Park where the Muhembo Border Post into Botswana lies a mere 35km to the south. The area offers a wide variety of accommodation options due to the breathtaking surroundings as well as its location in terms of well-known attractions and features.
