Taranga Safari Lodge

Taranga Safari Lodge is situated next to the Kavango River in north-east Namiba. It is near Halili Village, about 35km from Rundu and is the perfect stop-over for those on their way to central Namibia or the Caprivi strip.

Accommodation at the lodge consists of four open-fronted luxury riverbank tented cottages. All the cottages have en-suite bathrooms; a fan as well as a tea/coffee station. Some of the rooms have a mini-bar and mosquito nets.

The region that Taranga is located in is home to about 430 bird species, making it the ideal place for birdlovers. The lodge's surrounding areas also has rare sable and roan antelopes, bushbuck, reedbuck as well as tsessebe.

The lodge and surrounding areas will provide guests with plenty photographic opportunities. There is a restaurant at the lodge as well as a guest lounge, large wooden decks as well as a swimmining pool.

Activities in the area include river safaris, mokoro trips, sundowner river cruises, fishing trips, bush/nature walks and more.
