Namib Naukluft Lodge

Namib Naukluft Lodge is located between Solitaire and Sesriem on a private 13 000 hectare farm which has been a private nature reserve since 1999. It has a backdrop of amazing granite hills.

The main building at the lodge has both indoor and outdoor dining areas where breakfast is served in a buffet style and both lunch and dinner consist of three couses which can be ordered from a set menu. Traditional meals are also served in a boma around a cozy open fire.

Accommodation includes 16 tastefully furnished rooms, including two family rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, a telephone, a fan and a private, spacious patio which affords guests amazing views of the surrounding area.

Activities to be enjoyed include the Sossusvlei excursion and the Naukluft hiking trail. The Sossusvlei excursions are offered on a daily basis and tours are conducted by an English speaking guide and driver in a 4x4 vehicle. There is also a two hour hike into the mountains from the lodge with an optional guide, otherwise guests are left to their own devices. The trail is marked and map and radio are provided for guests not wishing to hike with a guide.
