Ai Aiba Rock Painting Lodge

The Ai-Aiba rock painting lodge is set on the farm Anibib which is about 45km from Omaruru. It is set among granite rock boulders and overlooks the Erongo Mountain nature conservancy. Ai Aiba is a Khoekhoegowab word meaning 'the person who walks in front to show the way'.

The main building at the lodge consists of a restaurant; Bushman bar and tv room. There is also a palm-fringed swimming pool and gardens where guests can escape to.

Accommodation at the lodge includes 20 luxurious twin and double rooms which are housed in ten thatch-roofed bunglows. All the rooms at the lodge have en-suite bathrooms and private patios.

Wildlife such as kudu, springbok, oryx, Damara dik dik, common duiker, klipspringer, hartmann's mountain zebra, giraffe, jackal, leopard, brown hyena, warthog, aardwold, aardvark, bat-eared fox, genet, porcupine, dassies, springhare and a variety of bird species can be found on the farm.

Activities include unguided walks, sundowner drives and rock painting drives.
