Description

Embark on a 7-day adventure through Namibia, visiting Windhoek, Fish River Canyon, Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Walvisbay, and Etosha Pan. Experience local culture, dramatic landscapes, and diverse wildlife. Day 1: Windhoek Start your trip with a city and Katutura Township tour. Visit key historical sites such as Christ Church, Ink Palace, Parliament Gardens, and the Old Fort. Explore Katutura Township, home to over two-thirds of Windhoek’s population, to experience local culture. Day 2: Fish River Canyon Visit the largest canyon in Africa, featuring dramatic landscapes and a variety of trails and viewpoints. Go hiking on the Fish River Trail (85 km, 4-5 days) or take shorter canyon rim walks. Look out for wildlife such as baboons, 240+ bird species, reptiles, and butterflies. Day 3: Sossusvlei Visit the Namib-Naukluft National Park, featuring towering red dunes and white salt pans. See the attractions of Dune 45, Hiddenvlei, Big Daddy, Deadvlei, Sesriem Canyon, and petrified dunes. Take part in activities such as quad-biking, nature walks, and hot-air balloon rides. Day 4 & 5: Swakopmund & Walvis Bay Explore Swakopmund, a coastal city with colonial architecture, desert adventures, and marine experiences.
