Sossus Dune Lodge

Sossus Dune Lodge is located in Sesriem and is builty in an eco-friendly manner, primarily from wood, canvas and thatch.

Accommodation at the lodge consists of 25 spacious chalets. 13 of the chalets have amazing views of the sand dunes and the other 12 afford guests with spectacular views of the mountains and the Sesriem Canyon. Chalets are linked by raised wooden walkways. All the chalets have panoramic views; two three-quarter beds; mosquito nets; en-suite bathrooms with hot shower, double basin and flush toilet; bath essentials; plush bath robes and slippers; wardrobe; private room safes; lighted make-up mirror and desk; hairdryer; lounge with designer suede loungers and large verandahs that overlook the Namib desert.

Activities at the lodge include trips to Sossusvlei with its towering star shaped dunes; the Sesriem Canyon; walking trails; photography opportunities; trips to Dune 45 and the Petrified dunes as well as deadvlei. However there is a pool and bar at the lodge should guests just feel like having a leisurely vacation.
