Roy's Rest Camp

Roy's Rest Camp is situated on the farm Elandslaagte which encompasses about 2800 hectares. Roy's Rest Camp was established in 1995 for the purpose of cattle farming and tourism. Elandslaagte is one of the oldest farms in the Grootfontein district and has been around since 1930.

Accommodation at the rest camp includes five standard rooms and two family rooms. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private barbeque areas, they also have air-conditioning as well as mosquito nets.

The rest camp also offers 16 camp sites with barbeque facilities and an ablution block with running hot water. The camp site also has a bush kitchen and is within walking distance of the swimming pool and dining area. The rest camp also has a curio shop where guests can purchase souvenirs.

Activities that can be enjoyed include walking trails for bird watching and game watching and excursions to visit the traditional San village which is about 86km from the rest camp.
