Description
Day 1: Arrival & Chobe Riverfront
Pickup from Livingstone (Zambia) or Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe). Cross the Kazungula border into Botswana and transfer to the campsite along the Chobe River. Afternoon game drive focuses on large elephant herds, followed by dinner and overnight camping.
Day 2: Chobe Riverfront Exploration
Start with an early morning game drive on the river floodplains, including a packed breakfast in the bush. At midday, take a boat from Kasane to Impalila Island (Namibia), explore traditional villages, birdwatch, and view the meeting point of Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Return for an afternoon boat cruise along the Chobe River and overnight at the campsite.
Day 3: Transfer to Savuti
Depart early, driving through the park to Savuti with game viewing en route. Set up camp on arrival. Afternoon game drive in Savuti Marsh to observe predator-prey dynamics. Dinner and overnight at the Savuti campsite.
Day 4: Full Day in Savuti
Morning game drive with opportunities to see lions, hyenas, and elephants, accompanied by a packed breakfast. Afternoon visit to Savuti’s rock paintings and baobab trees. Evening game drive before returning to camp for overnight.
Day 5: Departure
Early morning game drive in Savuti followed by breakfast at camp. Drive back toward Kasane with wildlife viewing on route. Cross borders and transfer to Livingstone or Victoria Falls.
