Description
Day 1: Kasane – Impalila Island – Chobe Camping
Arrive in Kasane in the morning and meet your guide to complete Namibia border formalities. Then take a boat transfer across the Chobe River to Impalila Island.
On the island, join a guided village walk to discover local traditions. Climb an ancient baobab tree for panoramic views of where four countries meet: Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Enjoy birdwatching along the riverbanks.
Return by boat to Kasane for lunch at a local restaurant, then proceed into Chobe National Park for an afternoon game drive. Settle into your camp inside the park, followed by dinner around the campfire and stargazing.
Day 2: Chobe Safari and River Cruise
Start early with a morning game drive to observe predators, elephants, and antelope. Return to camp for breakfast.
Later, board a boat safari along the Chobe River to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants bathing, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy lunch either as a picnic or at a lodge in Kasane. The trip concludes by early afternoon for onward travel.
