Boasting only a few houses, a petrol station and a wholesaler, Kongola is a small village offering access to the innermost parts of the Caprivi Strip. The road crosses over the Kwando River before leading into the little village. Be sure to pay a visit to the Mashi Crafts Market next to the filling station. Located approximately 60km from the Mudumu National Park and right on the B8 to Katima Mulilo, Kongola is yet another example of African culture and simplicity in existence.
