Day 1: Windhoek to Sossusvlei Begin your adventure in Windhoek and set out towards Sossusvlei along the breathtaking Spreetshoogte Pass. This scenic drive offers sweeping views of Namibia’s rugged landscapes, with your guide sharing fascinating insights about the region along the way. By afternoon, arrive at a comfortable lodge near Sossusvlei. Relax, take a refreshing swim in the pool, and soak in the desert atmosphere before enjoying a delicious included dinner (drinks at your own expense). Spend your first night in the lodge, surrounded by the tranquility of the desert. Day 2: Exploring Sossusvlei Rise early for breakfast, fueling up for a day of exploration. As soon as the park gates open, venture into Sossusvlei, guided to its most iconic landmarks: - Dune 45 – one of the most photographed dunes in the world. - Big Daddy Dune – challenge yourself with a climb to the summit for panoramic views. - Deadvlei – a surreal clay pan dotted with ancient, fossilized trees, frozen in time. - Sesriem Canyon – a natural gorge carved by centuries of flowing water. Decide how long to spend at each site, whether climbing dunes or simply marveling at the landscapes. After a full day of discovery, return to your lodge to unwind at the pool and enjoy another hearty dinner. Spend your second night in the desert lodge, under Namibia’s star-filled skies. Day 3: Sossusvlei to Walvis Bay & Swakopmund After a restful night, depart for Walvis Bay, where you’ll encounter flocks of flamingos and the striking pink salt lakes. From there, continue to the dramatic Sandwich Harbour, where towering dunes meet the Atlantic Ocean—a rare and unforgettable sight. This final leg of your journey showcases Namibia’s incredible contrasts: from desert sands to ocean waves. After your Sandwich Harbour experience, be transferred to Swakopmund, where your 3-day tour concludes.
