Description
Our journey starts in Windhoek at the Accommodation Establishment of your choice and ends in Windhoek. Driving from the Capital Town, Windhoek, you should have your camera ready at all times. As we travel via the Kupferberg Pass and reach the plateau, the well-known Gamsberg Pass and its Tabletop shape are our first sighting. Via the Spreethoogte Pass, one of the steeper Passes in Namibia, winding Gravel Roads will take us down to the plains of the Namib Desert. En route, you will experience unique plants like the 'wild tea', which looks dead, but within minutes, it starts showing green leaves. Mother Nature supplies Comiphera trees and many more unexpected natural healing plants. Through privately owned Farmlands, we will get closer to the Desert and reach the smallest town in Namibia, called Solitaire. This former 'one-horse' town not only displays the History of Namibia, but also is well known for its 'Apple crumble Pie'. This is a must-have! Sossusvlei and its Dunes are the main reason we need to travel so far. Highest Dunes, a Dead Vlei, Game like Oryx and Springbok, as well as Brown Hyena, just to mention a few, are on our list. To find out more, you have to read our full Itinerary.
