• The tour covers approximately 200 km to the oil rig, with a time frame of between 7 to 9 hours, depending on the stops and a relaxing picnic on the beach. Weather Conditions: The Skeleton Coast can be quite unpredictable. While the desert is generally hot, coastal areas can be windy and chilly, especially in the morning and evening. Be prepared for a variety of weather conditions and dress accordingly. Harsh Desert Environment: Travelling through the desert can be extreme, with temperatures rising quickly. It’s essential to stay hydrated and wear proper clothing to protect yourself from the intense sun. Although our experienced guide ensures your safety, please be mindful of the challenging conditions and take care while exploring. Comfortable Footwear: Expect some walking on uneven ground, so sturdy, comfortable shoes are a must.
