One of the park’s hidden gems is Solitaire, a small yet charming desert outpost famous for its old rusted cars, a historic fuel station, and some of the best apple pie in Namibia. The Naukluft Mountains dominate the landscape with their stunning rock formations, deep gorges, and caves, shaped over millions of years. • Road Conditions: The roads are gravel and dusty, and in some places, they can be quite bumpy. Expect a bit of shaking as we travel through remote desert terrain.
