Day 1 – Windhoek to Namib Desert via Solitaire Your desert adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Windhoek. Enjoy a scenic drive through changing desert landscapes and the charming outpost of Solitaire — perfect for a coffee stop and some iconic photos. Arrive at Hammerstein Desert Lodge (or similar) in the late afternoon, relax by the pool, and enjoy a delicious dinner under the desert sky. Optional afternoon safari or nature drive at Wekabi Private Reserve can be arranged for early arrivals. Accommodation: Hammerstein Desert Lodge or Similar Meals: Dinner included Day 2 – Sossusvlei, Dune 45 & Deadvlei Exploration Depart early before sunrise for an unforgettable drive to Sesriem Gate, the entrance to the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Climb the iconic Dune 45 as the sun rises over the world’s oldest desert, painting the sands in golden hues. Continue in a 4x4 jeep deeper into the desert to reach Deadvlei, a surreal white clay pan surrounded by rust-red dunes — perfect for photography and quiet reflection. After exploring, enjoy a 4x4 transfer back to your vehicle and return to the lodge for a relaxing afternoon by the pool or terrace.
