Wolwedans Boulders Safari Camp
Situated 45 kilometers south of Wolwedans and hugged by massive granite rocks, Boulders Safari Camp is the most remote and ‘classic’ camp of the Wolwedans Collection.
Upon re-opening end July 2018, Boulders sleeps a maximum of ten guests in five spacious tents. This tiny camp is as far off the beaten track, as it can get.
The main area consists of a dining and lounge tent, a breakfast deck, library, pool and an open fireplace. Sundowners can be enjoyed from the top of a mountainous rock plateau close by, delivering epic impressions of the vast beauty of the surroundings.
From Boulders Safari Camp you will explore the deep south of NamibRand Nature Reserve. Guided scenic drives, two to three hour walking safaris treading along the ancient hunting grounds of the bushmen and eBiking will happily fill your days.
The three-night package of Boulders with fixed arrival dates every third day of the year (check slots/dates below) enables us to truly weave the magic with a carefully choreographed programme, making the Boulders experience just perfect (please see the itinerary below the booking calendar!).
If you found the perfect date, please complete the entire reservations form for the tent of your choice and in the shopping cart, you can ‘quick add’ more tents as fits your group size.
Your itinerary would look like this:
Arrival before noon, briefing, lunch and pm activity (i.e. e-Biking, scenic drive etc.).
Evening arrivals will settle in and enjoy sundowners close to camp.
Early morning walking safari or e-Bike tour with brunch served in the field. Return to camp for a siesta. Extended afternoon scenic drive to the south of the reserve, sundowners in the field, dinner.
Day-safari to Wolwedans (lunch), returning to camp mid-afternoon. Sundowner in the field followed by a surprise dinner.
Departure after breakfast (latest 10h00)
