We hunt on the trail and sometimes from hides. The terrain is mainly Mopane woodland with granite 'koppies'. Some areas are quite rugged and can only be explored on foot. These are also the areas where the Mountain Zebra can be found. On average we have about 300 sunny days per year. February and March is in our rainy season. From April to August it can be colder in the mornings and evenings. September to November can be quite warm, but since water resources are limited, conditions are ideal for hunting, especially bow hunting. Accommodations are most comfortable with guests staying in private quarters with en-suite bathrooms, consisting of a shower, basin and flush toilet, with running hot and cold water. Electricity is generated by solar power. Delectable home cooked meals are served in the dining area - what goes into the pot, the hunter has shot! The newly established Elephant camp is quite an attraction since the Desert Elephant move into the area occasionally.
