Hochland Nest

The Hochland Nest lodge is located about 40 minutes from Windhoek and is right next to the Friednau Dam. It offers accommodation in the form of six individually styled units and one family unit and a choice of reed, brick and thatched chalets with their own private bathrooms and secluded deck.

All bedrooms contain three-quarter beds and a double bed sleeper couch, there is ample spacing between units to ensure privacy. The lodge can accommodate up to 20 guests.

There is a thatched dining area and a lounge area and wooden deck where guests can relax. The swimming pool is the perfect place for guests to go cool off in and escape the heat. Other services at the lodge include battery charging services for video and digital cameras as well as laundry services.

Hochland Nest also caters for fuctions of up to 30 people. Activities that can be enjoyed include nature drives in open 4x4 vehicles, morning walks, bird watching, fishing, camping at the Friednau dam, walking trails, nature or sunset drives, sunset boat cruises and half day boat trips for a maximum of three people.
