Erongo Wilderness Lodge
Erongo Wilderness Lodge is locaed near Omaruru in central Namibia and is surrounded by huge boulders and granite formations, on the outskirts of an ancient volcano.
The tented chalets are connected to the main area of the lodge by raised wooden walkways and natural stone steps. The lodge has a restaurant and pub which are situated on a separate rocky outcrop which affords guests views of the floodlit waterhole. A winding path leads from the reception area up the hill to the restaurant. Guests can enjoy a large brunch, consisting of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, homemade bread, cheese, cold meats or a choice of omelettes/pancakes or a full English breakfast. Homemade cake is served around 3pm.
There are ten tented chalets built on stilts and which have thatched roofs. The chalets have en-suite as well as a private deck, mini-bar, fan, mosquito nets, tea/coffee station, in-room safe, reading lights and fine linen.
Activities include mountain top walks, sundowner walks, general walks and nature drives.
